Chat on WhatsAppThe entire trek was a fantastic experience that was life changing. The beginning of the experience was difficult involving lack of communication between the owner and our professor. The owner needs to work on communication and letting people know about changes in advance as well as better communication about tipping porters.
Once on the experience however, it was absolutely amazing ! The porters were wonderful and our guides, including Ronny and King of The Mountains Carlos, were fabulous ! The hike was hard but well worth it. I felt incredible when I made it to Machu Picchu. Throughout the entire experience Carlos was giving us high-fives at important places and this was very motivational and kept me going.
I loved camping and hiking through the Inca Trail with great people. In all I really enjoyed the experience and the feeling of accomplishment I have now ! :)
