Slowly but surely

Machu Picchu was amazing. The hike was very tough but still beautiful. I highly suggest if anyone wants to do this hike, they need to be in tip top shape. I was always the last to finish, but when Ronnie was in the back, he stayed with me and even carried my pack. Carlos kinda skipped ahead and made Ronnie do more work. I wish I could thank him with more. Overall in the beginning there was lack of communication. Without Ronnie and the porters we couldn't have done this. Carlos did a good job giving high fives and making us feel like family. I wish that we had known more details than the day before the hike.

The porters deserve way better treatment and so does Ronnie. The trails were nice, but more difficult than expected. I kinda wish we had more breaks. The food was delicious and very accommodating to the lactose free and the vegetarian options. I was the slowest one but I did it. It was a very physically, mentally, and emotionally draining. I wish I could thank the porters and Ronnie more. I know I'm saying that a lot but I couldn't have done this without them. I wish the boss would give them more money and better equipment. Overall it was a beautiful hike. Thank you for the experience.
