The guided Inca trail tour to the Machu Picchu be the Inca Trail Reservations was a great experience. The guides Raul and Carlos helped us get through the tough parts of the trail in single piece.

Day 0: A day before the trail started, we were called to the office to give a briefing about the trail and our itenary for the next 4 days.

Day 1: started early at our hostel around 6 am. We were takes to a place on the way for breakfast, and finally to the place were the trek starts by 10 am. Day 1 trek was easy enough, with little up hill and down hill trek before end of day.

Day 2: We were briefed already that it was goiana to be tough, with extreme uphill to the maximum altitude of over 13,000 feet. The Guides took enough care to make sure everyone was safe, also offered minor help with lifting the baggage In cases of extreme difficulty. nevertheless the satisfaction on reaching the top on crossing the dead woman's pass the satisfaction was of a different level. The down hill Trek was easy that day and We MANAGEd to wrap up the day by 5:30 Pm.

Day 3: The day was going to be a long one, with a walking distance of 16 kms. The uphill was was easy, but the downhill Trek was going to be the longest downhill with an altitude decrease of about 1300 metres but nevertheless that was going to be the last difficult part of the Trek. The Guides helped us reach the base camp by 6:30 Pm.

Day 4: This was going to be an easy day with an early start at 3 am, reaching the sua gate around 7 and then an easy down Trek to the Machu Picchu.
