Okay first of all, I just want to say that Ronnie is absolutely amazing. He is the best guide we could have asked for. The food was delicious, our chefs basically cooked us a 5 star meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Hiking Nevada Salkantay was really, really hard, but only because I have not had much experience hiking at a higher altitude. It all pays off though with a dip in the gorgeous hot springs of Santa Teresa. We had an unexpected zip line adventure, which I encourage everyone to do because it was a freaking blast!!! Everyone on the trek, especially those working for Inca Trail Reservations were warm, welcoming, and inviting. Even if you do not speak a lick of Spanish, your team will provide a comfortable, safe, and adventurous environment for you to thrive in.
