Chat on WhatsAppOur trek was not the same like in the itinerary we had, that was very disappointed, we were very frustrated but our guide was very attentive, Jose was our guide, he was extremely accommodating encouraging and genuinely concerned about our experience and safety on the trek, he was very knowledgeable and took every opportunity to teach about the Incan culture.
About the food, that was excellent we were very impressed and surprised about the quantity and quality, we really enjoyed the cake on the last night.
Our tents were ready when we arrived to the campsites, the porters were quickly during the trek, they carried our things because we hired porters in advance, that was very helpful for us because the trek was very difficult and we only carried our personal pack.
When we arrived to Machu picchu everything was magic for us, that was the first time for us, our guide explained all about the history about Machu picchu.
We also had an extra night in aguas calientes and that was very comfortable. Everything was good for us, the only complain we had is about our itinerary, Mariella was quick to respond to emails but I feel we should have been notified when the emailed itinerary changed.
