Hello!
We just survived the Inca Trail ! It was really amazing, the views were incredible, the trail was fantastic! And what about climbing the dead woman's pass peak? It was so hard but when you make it you feel so realized, so happy with a big explosion of adrenaline! Everything was well planned, the food was amazing, our guide Gerson was superb (and his English was great!). The group was very funny, everybody helped each other, always with a smile on their faces! And it all ends in one of the seven wonders of the world, machu pichu is so so beautiful! And I am glad we had a guide in machu pichu, without him and his explanations the wonder would not be so appreciated. Do not expect it to be easy, it is tough hiking, climb lots of mountains and going down is not as easy as it seems! In my opinion the group should not have to carry the sleeping mats, it is more weight on our backs. At least they should be lighter. Also the first day could be a bit longer, so that the second day would be not as tough... Overall it is really worth it, you should be prepared for some tough but realizing days!!
Gracias pacha mama!
