She was very helpful providing me with any information I asked for. Inca Trail Reservations even provided free transportation from the airport to my hotel.
Our tour guides Victor and Robert took great care of us and were very pleasant and informative. They provided us with detailed information about each site we encountered and on the Inca way of life. They motivated us to reach the next check point and gave us tips on how to hike safely.
Much respect to the cook and porters for doing a great job. The food was so delicious and not what you would expect in the middle of nowhere trekking in the remote mountains of Peru. Some examples of food we ate are pizzas, pasta and steaks. The tents and facilities were more than adequate.
The scenery and ancient sites were amazing. It was great visiting each site and receiving a detailed account on what is known about its history and purpose. Seeing Machu Picchu with your own eyes is more beautiful than any picture you can find. Make sure you give yourself a couple of hours to explore the whole site. The climb up to Huayna Picchu is well worth the 30 - 40 minute climb. Even if you only go half way up and get a few pictures from the terraces. The train ride home was very comfortable, the views of the mountains and Urubamba river were picturesque.
