Trekking with Raul

My girlfriend and I did the Salkantay trek as we weren't organised enough to book ourselves on the Inca Trail . We were initially concerns that we might miss out, but our fears were completely unfounded.

From day 1 the scenery was incredible. We were very lucky to be trekking with a great group of people and hit the jackpot with our guide, Raul.

The trek itself was tiring but manageable, everybody says it but the food was fantastic, Raul, the horseman and the cooks were always happy and eager to please.

Hot showers were a feature of every campsite except the first. If you want to feel like you're in The Lord of The Rings, this is the trek for you.
