Worth the pain

As I write this, my legs and feet barely move but I don't need any time for reflection to know that the experience has been well worth the physical demands. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and an amazing opportunity to shut off the world, challenge yourself physically (and mentally!), and embrace new culture and history.

The trek was very scenic and we encountered very few other tourists, which was a welcome surprise. The trek was very well organized and the guide was very accommodating, and kept very calm under the pressure of some unexpected and unavoidable travel obstacles. I would recommend this trek and the organization to other travelers.
