Easy day
I didn't know what to expect. I never hiked before so it would be all new for me, and I can say.... it was amazing. The hikes, the guides, the food and the tents for sleeping. We had a great group and with the guides helping us with everything, this is going to be a trip that I would never ... Continue Reading →

First time camping
Having never been hiking or camping before, I thought I'd do it tough for the first time. And I had the most amazing time on this trek ! From the tour guides, to the porters, cooks and the rest of the group, everyone was fantastic and made this such an enjoyable experience.
There is no way I would have ... Continue Reading →
I survived
I was a bit nervous before the adventure, think it was because of my new trekking shoes and too much partying in Cusco... But when the day arrived I was so excited ! We started with the "lazy day", then the second day was coming up, the hardest one. Uphill almost all the way and probably I lost breath for ... Continue Reading →
Da hike !
I was impressed from start to finish ! The organization from the first briefing was extraordinary and informative. From there the food proved to be surprisingly excellent (given the conditions). Going forward all the information provided at each archaeological site was in depth and all questions were answered with amazing detail !
Overall from start to finish I was ... Continue Reading →
Incredible from start to finish
5 am wake up calls (?!). Dirt under your nails for days. Hours of hiking on sore ankles (cankles?). Wouldn't change a single thing - the entire experience from start to finish was incredible, and the company did an amazing job taking care of the group and making it a memorable journey. I highly recommend this company for your trek ... Continue Reading →
What a wonderful experience !
I can't say enough good things about my trip with Inca Trail Reservations. First, the guides and porters were fantastic. The guides were always patient with us - hiking , explaining the history, practicing Spanish, etc. Gerson, Marco and Pepe were hilarious.
The porters are so hard working and the food was wonderful. We woke up each morning to ... Continue Reading →
Amazing journey
Machu Picchu is breath taking for sure, but the journey there is even more amazing. Inca Trail Reservations does a great job making this trek fun and memorable. The guides exceed every expectation. The food is delicious, but I do wish there was more protein for muscle recovery.
The camps they chose are ideal. Be prepared to be challenged ... Continue Reading →
Trek or treat
What a fantastic time. Gerson, Marco and Pepe were great - really knowledgeable, chill and thorough. We never felt rushed and it was super fun. The chef and food were amazing - definitely overate more than once. Maybe too much tea before bed time (night camping pees are the worst), but that was my own fault.
The trail itself ... Continue Reading →
Great time
I thought everything was great. The guides and porters were hard working and personable. I think they all did a great job and it was a great experience. The cooks did a great job under the circumstances they were under, and they made the experience.

Wonderful time
I had an absolutely amazing four days. I started out the trek wishing it was day four so that I could already be at Machu Picchu, but after the first day I was hoping that the trek would last even longer.
From climbing various mountains to evening dinners to seeing double rainbows, our group had a wonderful time. The ... Continue Reading →
Awesome experience
I'm so happy that I booked my Inca Trail trek through Inca Trail Reservations. Everything that was within their control was amazing. The group provided excellent pre-trip information that helped me to feel way more prepared to leave. Sore feet but no defeat
I had an amazing trip, the sights are incredible and the tour is very well organized and run. You need the stamina and willpower to get through all four days but it is completely worth it. Acclimatization and a reasonable level of fitness is needed but it is an excellent trek, the food is great and the tour guides we ... Continue Reading →
