Overall, our trekking experience was good. We got an early start every day (5 AM) and had full days of hiking. Even experienced hikers will find the trail challenging and be exhausted at the end of each day. The food was excellent and some of the best soup you will ever have. Bring only what you need, as you don´t ... Continue Reading →

We had a wonderful time with Inca Trail Reservations. Our Guide, Jose Luis Martinez, was extremely knowledgeable and kept our attention. We learned a lot about Machu Picchu, the Inkas and Hiram Bingham. The trek was very fun. Be sure to bring warm clothes and rain gear because it does rain a lot. We rented a sleeping bag with the ... Overall fantastic experience ! Our guide Freddy was very knowledgable about Inca history and the different sites that we visited along the way. The Inca way of life, their architecture and craftsmanship was fascinating and they left many lessons that modern day society could learn from. Salkantay Trek was a good alternative to the Inca Trail being more about the landscape. The snow peaked mountain and valley views were amazing. Santa Teresa Hot Springs was one of the highlights after a weary hike up the mountain pass to the highest point and ascending down the other side of the pass the previous day. Going through the ... Dear Inca Trail Reservations,
Thank you all so much for the trip. It was more than I could have asked for. I had some friends that were in Cusco recently and did a single day trek to Machupicchu. They had a good time but realized that without a guide they did not learn much about the history of the ... Continue Reading →
