An amazing experience.
Salkantay is physically demanding, but exceptionally rewarding.
Our guide Elmer was very fantastic and porters were hardworking, friendly and supportive. There was plenty of good nourishing food and campsites were comfortable and well organized. It was raining just a bit. The trek, physically more difficult than I expected.
