Our group of seven completed the 4-day Inca Trail with Edwin and Liset, our guides, 11 porters, and one amazing chef.
The trek was grueling and long, but our guides and porters made the trek a memorable experience. Edwin kept the energy up throughout the whole entire trip. He gave the right amount of information and could tell when ... Continue Reading
Completely Worth It!
It's quite the experience! There were times I didn't think i would make it but I'm glad I had the support from everyone including the other trip members! My favorite day was day three (the views are breath taking!) and least favorite was day two (it is quite the uphill hike) but getting to 4200 meters is utter craziness. On ... Continue Reading
Beautiful and painful adventure
Great trek overall. Definitely points of wanting to quit but the views and kindness of the guides and porters got us through it. Certainly unforgettable. Will definitely recommend to friends. High points were getting to meet our porters and reaching the top of dead woman's peak. I also enjoyed the third day the best as we traversed through jungle and ... Continue Reading
The full experience
the 4 day trek was incredible. The hike up the mountain on day 1 with a 35 pound packs made me realize I overpacked and might have made a big mistake. But we carried on, and on day 2 reached the highest point.

A lot of walking but worth every step!
It was much more fun than I had ever expected. Carlos and Marcos were so full of knowledge about the plants and wildlife it was more of a learning experiance than just an adventure.

My legs are sore but I loved it
The experience was great and the views were incredible. Our guides Carlos and Marco were so passionate about their jobs.

Salkantay?...more like SalkanYAY. Out of all of the 4d/5n medium difficulty hikes to Machu Picchu that I've been on, this one was by far the best.
The views along the trail were breathtaking (both figuratively and literally 4700m altitude!) and the quality and organization of the trek by our tour guides was exceptional. Our guides, Carlos and Marcos, were ... Continue Reading
That was a nice time.
I had a really great time on my trek. My favorite part were the guides and the team! Our main guides were friendly, energetic, enthusiastic and informative. Everyday they explained what exactly we would be doing, and how to plan for our upcoming day. Very organized! The support crew (cooks and horsemen) were also nice and cooked up many delicious ... I had a great experience during the trip to Machu Picchu. The first day was fun and amazing for visiting the lake Humatay.
It was really hard during the night for the temperature, cold! But nice wake up with a hot tea. Second day was the hardest for the hiking to Salkantay glacier but really for me the best ... Continue Reading
The trip of a lifetime doesn't quite say it all. Carlitos is the most passionate guide that I,ve ever come across.

Where My Llamas At??!!
Despite being challenging and sometimes discouraging, my 5-day hike to the Machu Picchu Mountain was nothing short of amazing.
The guides and cooks and horsemen were so wonderful, friendly and encouraging. At moments when I felt like turning around down the mountain, they told me I was capable and they were somehow correct.
I highly recommend this ... Continue Reading
