As we walked along
We started the first day off with a long bus ride from Cusco. We began hiking with our new family up hill while enjoying the beautiful views ! The first camp ground was my favorite because of the privacy and stunning the scenery.
Day two was hard for me, I took it slow and was happy to reach the ... Continue Reading →
By far, this was one of the most incredible adventures I have experienced. I wasn't sure what to expect as I embarked upon this journey, but what I did find was a positive yet exhausting experience. I mean, the views were spectacular, but my preparation for this experience was lacking.
I found myself repeating the words "what the f&@#" ... Continue Reading →
I came here because I understand that treks are so much more than a physical journey, and the amazing people I have met here and the team that was built really did feel like family. Despite the fact that I struggled more than the rest of the team to keep up, no one made me feel left out.

Went to paradise with the king of the mountains
We started to be packed into a minibus (13 family members) and arrived to Mollepata to get a continental breakfast.... Where is the coffee? Where is the bread? Yes, this was the funny start of a crazy adventure with our new family ! With the King of the Mountains (Carlos) and Jorge (the prince of the mountains) as guides, we ... Continue Reading →
The king of the mountain and his loyal squire Jorge have generously shared the Peruvian mountains with us for the last 4 days. We were prepared for rain and cold weather and were not disappointed. However, we also had lots of sun, cozy lunch and dinner moments in a shelter, and we had the pleasure of being introduced to our ... Continue Reading →
Wow ! What incredible scenery and majestic landscapes. I have had such a wonderful time with great old friends and new friends that I made on this trip. One of the things I love about traveling is the people I meet, not just the places I go. This trail of wonder has helped in that.

The people on the trip were awesome. I think that this was the best part about the trip. We thought that we were on a private trip but with the 13 people we were with, we were very lucky, everyone was great. Food was okay. Loved Jorge, he was extremely helpful and kind !
The only word I have ... Continue Reading →

Thank you king of the mountain and Jorge
I hiked the Salkantay trek with Carlos and Jorge at the end of March. I had a wonderful time, and though the trek is challenging at times I am very happy to have made the choice of joining the tour. The Salkantay route offers stunning and surprisingly varied views and is a very good alternative to the Inca Trail.

A wonderful experience
We had an enjoyable Inca Trail experience. The first day was hot and sunny, and the scenery was even more beautiful than I had imagined. The second day was colder and overcast. On the way through Dead Woman's Pass it began to rain and it was very cold.
From the saddle the weather cleared and we had impressive views ... Continue Reading →
