I hiked the Salkantay trek with Carlos and Jorge at the end of March. I had a wonderful time, and though the trek is challenging at times I am very happy to have made the choice of joining the tour. The Salkantay route offers stunning and surprisingly varied views and is a very good alternative to the Inca Trail.
