Salkantay 5 day trek
Before this trek, I was a little worried about going on this trek, mainly because of how difficult the trek sounded, along with my altitude sickness that I had. Then, our guide came to our hotel to give us a very detailed briefing.
On the hike the next day, I was feeling very bad with my altitude sickness; however, ... Continue Reading →
Salkantay trek
Juan Carlos was an amazing guide and we had a fantastic experience! Meals were tasty, staff were courteous, and I would recommend this trip to others.
Each step of the trip was well planned and the entire group was well taken care of.
That being said, altitude sickness is real! If you want ... Continue Reading →
Adventurous trek
It was a challenging but amazing experience. Long days hiking were rewarded with great vistas and consistently good food, always with soup, salad, and an entree.
The mountains views were breathtaking, but my favorite part of the trail was the descent through the cloud forest, with a wide range of birds, flowers, other vegetation, and raging rivers.

Salkantay 5 day
I had a great time on this trek. The amount of hiking was manageable and well spaced, and the views, of course, made even the most strenuous days well worth it.
We had two fabulous guides who were extremely helpful and encouraging. Carlos and Martin were always willing to go the extra mile to help, even offering to ... Continue Reading →
Salkantay five day trek
Amazing trip. The description of the days of hiking provided by the company was very good.
Day one was a chance to brush off the cobwebs and shake out our legs. Day two was incredibly hard and highly rewarding. Astonishing scenery, glaciers, steep cliffs, tough paths and a very windy pass. Day three was gentler, and rewarded with hot ... Continue Reading →
Great Salkantay trek
Over this trip we spent 3 days in a tent, had 15 meals, and all the nights were great and the food was delicious. Every morning we got a wake-up call and a warm cup of coca leaf tea. We really appreciated all of it.
The guides were amazing. We had Carlos and Martin who helped me the ... Continue Reading →

Salkantay tour
Continue Reading →
Machu Picchu
The Inca Trail is an extremely challenging yet rewarding experience. The scenery is fantastic and the service is impeccable. When you arrive at your site each day the tents are set up and the food is waiting for you on the table.
Our guide was awesome. He was encouraging, entertaining and quite professional. In addition, he took the time ... Continue Reading →
The highs and lows of Machu Picchu
Despite my battle with a stomach bug or whatever I had, our guide Manuel made sure I made it through to the end. It was definitely a challenge. Dead Woman's Pass gave me a run for my money but there were porters available to carry my pack when I couldn't. It was exhausting and emotionally draining but incredibly rewarding.

Climbing adventure
This was one of the most challenging activities I've ever done. Day one and three were challenging but didn't come close to day 2. I experienced some altitude symptoms and had huge support from Manuel and the family I climbed with.
I got to know my group very well and can definitely say that I gained some new ... Continue Reading →
One to remember!
This trek was definitely one to remember! Quite a tough adventure but once we hit the top of that mountain and the finish line at Machu Picchu it was well worth the climb.
Many thanks to Inca Trail Reservations and Manuel for coordinating the trek for us. They made it very easy to get up early each morning ... Continue Reading →
A trail of two halves
I was worried when I first arrived for the Inca Trail as I was feeling unwell and had put far too much in my bag! But after struggling through the first day, barely lifting my eyes from the path in front of me, everything changed. The walk mirrored how I felt. Just as my health improved the walk changed from ... An experience like none other
Most incredible experience of my life. Our guide, Manuel, was tremendously engaging, entertaining and helpful. He not only provided expert guidance but encouraged us throughout the whole trek.
The service the porters provided us was fantastic - they took all the hard work out of it (other than climbing of course). I will remember this trek for the ... Continue Reading →
Amazing time on the Inca Trail!
We just completed the Inca Trail and had an absolutely amazing time. There were 10 of us in the group and the guides, Raul and Marco, did well to make sure that all different levels could complete the trail.
The vibe was always positive and supportive and the food was fantastic! Although the second day at Dead Woman's ... Continue Reading →
